I have a Bachelor's degree in English from the Université de Lorraine, Nancy, as well as TEFL certification from ITTT (International TEFL Teaching Training) online institute. My degree specialised in English and American literature and civilization, linguistics, didactics and the principles of teaching English and classroom management.
Experience
I am a native English speaker, born and raised in Australia and have spent eighteen months living in London and one year in Dublin, my knowledge of the English language, it's use and dialects is vast and something that I love to share with all of my students. I am highly motivated and dedicated to helping all of my students to realise their goals. All of my lessons are tailored to my student's objectives, I frequently set homework and provide progress reports that correspond with the CEFR guidelines. I have experience teaching English for tourism, international marketing and environmental studies to classes of up to thirty-five students at Cours Diderot, Paris 11eme. I currently provide one-on-one lessons and workshops to companies and institutions such as: Microsoft France, Hugo Boss France, L'Oréal, Centre National d'Etudes Spatiales (CNES), CLM BBDO, Valeo, Takoma, Eden Red, Grant Thornton, IBM, Manpower, SIACI Saint Honoré, Melitta, Sagemcom, SNCF, Brainsonic, Centreon, Simcorp, Amgen, Compass Group and the HEC (École des hautes études commerciales de Paris). I am a qualified BULATS exterminator and have experience preparing students for the BULATS, TOEIC, TOEFL and Bright English exams.

Hobbies
I love to read and have a particular interest in English and American literature. I have travelled quite extensively throughout Europe and South East Asia. I write short fiction, mainly short stories and poetry and have had some of my work published in magazines and anthologies in the United States. I collect typewriters and have far too many of them considering the size of my apartment!
